it has been far too long, but I needed a break from xanga for a while. but have no fear, I am back! (at least for the day), at the request of my lovely friend Liz.
I am constantly amazed at the speed life takes me, the semester is over and I only have one more year of college ahead! I know that in no time at all I will be sitting this same wooden chair, baffled at the fact that I will have graduated and will be ready to start my career. my career! I feel like people in their late 30's are the ones with careers, not me. it's a little scary, when I think about it. but that time will come when it comes, and I'm enjoying the stage of life I'm in right now.
I am always learning about the ups and downs of life. I know that I will never have anything completely figured out. just when I'm headed in the direction I think I want to go, God shows me that He has a better idea in mind. It's frustrating, but throughout each circumstance, I learn a world of new things, and I know that struggles are what help us to truly grow. there is so much room for growth in my life, and I often feel like I'm lagging behind. but God has been so patient with me and gently shows me the things I believe He wants me to know. all praise be to Him. anyway, this upcoming summer has many fun things in store. in a couple weeks I will start working as a student camp nurse at Twin Lakes Camp. there is also a family trip planned to Canada in July. and hopefully, a few concerts here and there (i haven't been to a concert in a long time!). who knows what other adventures may arise.. . . .. . right now i am drinking a tea that promises to strengthen my uterus
